This Friday, Newmyer Flyer Presents: Halloween Howl at the Hamilton Live. Enjoy local musicians performing the greatest Halloween hits from the last 50 years like Bad Moon Rising, Psycho Killer, Thriller, and Sympathy For The Devil. Hosted at the Hamilton in DC where “musician and audience come together for a truly unique experience of entertainment and dining”, this Halloween party isn't one to miss. Costumes are optional but there's a costume contest for those who want to participate. Dinner, drinks, dancing, costumes, and music: don't miss out on the Halloween party of the year.

ART Filipino: Works by Master Artists
This Friday and Saturday, catch the last two days of ART Filipino: Works by Master Artists at the Asian Arts Gallery, Center for the Arts at Towson University. At the turn of the past century, up to the sixties and seventies, artists in the Philippines pioneered the modern art movement before their counterparts in other countries of Asia. Organized in cooperation with the Philippine Center in New York, this exhibition celebrates the remarkable advancement in Filipino identity through free and creative expressions of human experiences, embodied in these works of nationally recognized master artists.

Picasso at the Lapin Agile
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if two of the greatest minds of all time shared a drink at a bar? The Vienna Theatre Company brings this dream scenario to life in its fall production, Picasso at the Lapin Agile! Created by comedic guru Steve Martin, this fun and imaginative play places Einstein and Picasso at a bar in 1904, right when both men happen to be on the verge of world-changing ideas. When each mastermind realizes that the other is a formidable foe, a drawn out debate about the significance of genius and talent ensues. Enjoy a night of laughter coupled with a bit of mental stimulation as you witness the expertise of The Vienna Theatre Company and the intelligence of Picasso at the Lapin Agile!

An Evening with Jerry Lewis: Live From Las Vegas

 

Born in 1926, Jerry Lewis is one of America’s most iconic slapstick comedians. He rose to fame with partner Dean Martin with the Martin and Lewis comedy act, which first appeared on television in 1948. In the 1950s, he embarked on a solo career and starred in films such as The Ladies Man, The Nutty Professor, and It’s Only Money. More recently, Lewis has performed on Broadway and been awarded for his humanitarian acts, always known as being a key member of the comedic community.

An Evening with Jerry Lewis: Live From Las Vegas

This Saturday, comedian Jerry Lewis takes to the stage of the Showroom at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, as he tells stories of his eight-decade career in a tribute to his 87th birthday. The performance will feature narrative and musical acts by Lewis, as well as footage from his career, both classics and never before seen. At the end of the evening, Lewis will take questions from fans in the audience. Join us for this monumental presentation with Jerry Lewis, this Saturday at 6:30pm.
