A New Year’s Treat: Watch A Scene From the Sherlock Series 2 Premiere

Sherlock s2 Cast 001.jpg
For those of us in America who are counting down the days till the Stateside premiere of the BBC’s wonderful Sherlock adaptation in May, the lovely folks over at fan site Sherlockology are nothing short of an amazing resource during our time of waiting.  (123 days to go! Not that I have a countdown clock or anything. Because that would be weird.)

Their site is dedicated to remaining spoiler-free until after the US broadcast, but they have still been regularly providing us with photos, reviews and other goodies that fans can indulge in without worrying about whether they’ll ruin the experience of watching for themselves when the time comes. (I’m a big fan of theirs – can you tell?)

Like this clip from Series 2’s first episode – A Scandal in Belgravia - which aired in the UK this past Sunday. All viewers can feel perfectly safe watching it, as it reveals nothing about the overall plot of the episode, and is basically just two minutes of Sherlock and John being awesome, as well as a bit unorthodox in their investigating methods.  It’s definitely worth a look, so click through and have at it!

Perfect? Pretty much!

Lacy's love of British TV is embarrassingly extensive, but primarily centers around evangelizing all things Doctor Who, and watching as many period dramas as possible.

Digital media type by day, she also has a fairly useless degree in British medieval literature, and dearly loves to talk about dream poetry, liminality, and the medieval religious vision. (Sadly, that opportunity presents itself very infrequently.) York apologist, Ninth Doctor enthusiast, and unabashed Ravenclaw. Say hi on Threads or Blue Sky at @LacyMB.
