Amazon's Good Omens has arrived, and the fates are smiling down on everyone.

The highly anticipated televison adaptation of Good Omens announces not just a premiere date, but one last casting update: Benedict Cumberbatch!

Amazon Prime Video dropped the first trailer for its upcoming adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens at New York Comic Con last weekend and – spoiler alert! – it looks spectacular.

Filming has started on the small screen adaptation of fantasy drama Good Omens, starring Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex, the Twilight films) and David Tennant (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones).

Otherwise known as that show that has pretty much the most perfect lead casting for a TV series ever.
