Prince Harry

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Join Twitter. Sort of.

The British royal family continued its love affair with social media this week, announcing the creation of new Twitter, Instagram and Storify accounts dedicated to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

The Royal Family has already proven to be quite organized about their official social media activity – there’s an official @BritishMonarchy account, as well as @ClarenceHouse, which publicizes the activities of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and had, up until this point also been covering the young royals as well. The Queen herself even managed to write a tweet on the occasion of the opening of a new gallery dedicated to the Information Age at London’s Science Museum last year.

The new @KensingtonRoyal accounts will be dedicated to updating the world on the engagements, charitable endeavors and other news about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Harry.
