In honor of Victoria Day, ITV and Masterpiece released a first look clip at the highly anticipated second season of the period drama that bears the queen’s name, Victoria. Still celebrated in various places around the world – it’s an actual federal holiday in Canada – Victoria Day marks the anniversary of the British monarch’s birth.

The footage, featuring stars Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes in their roles as Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, is the first we’ve seen to date from Victoria Season 2.

Another New Downton Abbey Clip Arrives: Watch the Dowager and Martha Face Off

It seems pretty clear that while everyone ever is eagerly (rabidly? fanatically? intensely?) anticipating the return of Downton Abbey, what we all most want to see in Series 3 is Dame Maggie Smith’s Dowager Countess throw down with newcomer Martha Levinson, played by Shirley MacLaine. As Cora’s American mother, Martha will obviously be bringing a new sensibility into the stoic English estate, and seems certain to clash quite frequently with the more traditionalist Violet.

Luckily, we can get another taste of what's in store for us in Series 3 now - Masterpiece has released another new clip from the new season, and it's basically made to satisfy our need to see as much of Dame Maggie vs. Shirley as we can possibly get.

Watch a Scene From Tonight's Inspector Lewis Finale, "The Indelible Stain"

The new series of Inspector Lewis wraps up tonight on Masterpiece Mystery. Yes, somehow we’ve already reached the end of new Lewises for the year (How? It feels like we just started!), and the wait for new episodes begins once again tomorrow. Not to worry though, there’s plenty of great British fare still to come in the next few months, including a new series of Wallander, hit drama Call the Midwife, the second series of Upstairs Downstairs and, of course, the return of a little show called Downton Abbey.

But, that’s getting a bit ahead of ourselves. In tonight’s Lewis finale, called The Indelible Stain, Lewis and Hathaway must investigate when a controversial American academic is found strangled after giving a guest lecture at Oxford and the possible motives include politics, ambition and vengeance.

Watch a Scene from Tonight’s Brand New Inspector Lewis Mystery, “Fearful Symmetry”

The new series of Inspector Lewis continues tonight on Masterpiece at 9pm. In tonight’s installment, Fearful Symmetry, Lewis and Hathaway investigate the murder of a suburban babysitter who seems to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time – and may have been leading a secret life.

Watch a Scene From Morse Prequel Endeavour, Airing on Masterpiece Tonight!

Tonight at 9pm on Masterpiece Mystery, Shaun Evans stars in Endeavour, a prequel to the long-running Inspector Morse series.

Set in 1965, Evans stars as a much-younger Endeavour Morse, back when he was a rookie Detective Constable cutting his teeth on his first cases in Oxford.

Downton Abbey Series 3 First Look: Shirley MacLaine Faces Off with Maggie Smith

Everyone's eager for Downton Abbey to return to our televisions in January – but let’s face it, what we’re really all looking forward to in Series 3 is seeing Dame Maggie Smith’s indomitable Dowager Countess go head-to-head with new addition Shirley MacLaine’s Martha Levinson. Right? Luckily, we can now get our first tiny sneak peek at what the confrontations between these two veteran actresses will be like!

The American Film Institute honored MacLaine with their 40th “AFI Life Achievement Award” last night and various celebrities paid tribute to the accomplished actress during the ceremony. One of the presenters was Downton’s Elizabeth McGovern, who introduced a brand new clip from Series 3, featuring MacLaine and Smith indulging in the sort of verbal sparring that makes you want to cry because we’re still over six months away from seeing this for ourselves.

When faced with Lady Violet upon her arrival at Downton, Maclaine’s Martha snarks, “Oh, dear. I’m afraid the war has made old women of us both.”

Yup, it’s pretty much exactly how you pictured it in your head, and exactly how we all wanted their interactions to turn out. She called the Dowager Countess old, y’all. Get the popcorn ready. It's on.

The 'Sherlock' Series 2 Finale Airs Tonight: Get Ready for 'Reichenbach' with a Sneak Peek and A New Interview!

Hope everyone is suitably emotionally prepared excited for the Series 2 finale of Sherlock tonight at 9pm. It is – and I promise I’m not exaggerating on this point – the single best hour and a half of television you will see all year. It’s that good.

And trust me, you will never in your life lament the fact that this show only has three episodes per series more than in this episode’s final two minutes. Protip: Be ready for anything, and maybe have a lot of some Kleenex nearby.

But, first – get in the mood by watching a sneak peek at a scene from tonight’s ep, as well as a fabulous new interview with creator Steven Moffat and star Benedict Cumberbatch about the finale. It’s all under the cut!

And make sure you come back by Telly Visions after the episode airs, because I am going to need people to help me with all my emotions talk about this episode with.

Get a Sneak Peek at Tonight’s Finale of Masterpiece’s “Birdsong”

World War I drama Birdsong concludes tonight on Masterpiece Classic! Did you enjoy part one last weekend?

I actually meant to write up a review of this film, but unfortunately didn’t get the chance yet. (Maybe I’ll do a cumulative one?) So, I will merely say in brief that Eddie Redmayne is really quite a good actor! He’s doing an excellent job.

Anwyay, get in the mood for part two - click through for a sneak peek at a scene from tonight’s conclusion, then tune in for the rest at 9pm!

Watch a Scene from “Birdsong,” Airing Tonight on Masterpiece!

Premiering tonight on Masterpiece Classic, watch Part One of Birdsong, an adaptation of Sebastian Faulkes’ best-selling novel of the same name.

Eddie Redmayne (My Week with Maryiln, The Pillars of the Earth) and Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter, In Bruges) star in this World War I drama, which tells the story of Stephen Wraysford's all-consuming love affair with Isabelle Azaire and the enduring effect their relationship has on him as he fights in the trenches.
