If you weren’t one of the lucky couple thousand people crammed into the San Diego Convention Center’s Ballroom 20 last July, then you missed a great chat with Sherlock creators Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and producer Sue Vertue about what we can expect from the drama’s highly anticipated third series.

Sure, you probably read some Comic Con summaries, and maybe even watched the video from the trio’s panel appearance at Zachary Levi’s charity Nerd HQ event, or pestered your friends who attended the convention for details. But there’s nothing like seeing things for yourself – and now, luckily, you can!

The full video of Sherlock’s first ever Comic Con panel has been released by PBS and you can watch all forty plus glorious minutes for yourselves at the link below.

While the clip does include the adorable video messages sent in by stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, it sadly does not contain the sneak peek footage from upcoming Series 3 episode The Sign of Three that was shown to fans in attendance. But, even without that, it’s still well worth a watch.

Filming recently wrapped on Series 3, but there’s still no official word on when we can expect to see Sherlock and John back on our TV screens. Given the fact that Sherlock appeared in the BBC’s recent “Original British Drama” trailer, the general (and totally unconfirmed) consensus online appears to be the series will mostly likely return around New Year’s, with a 2014 broadcast set for the States.

Not that we’re counting or anything.

Much.
